作為社區的重要一員,我們以創造共同價值以回應社會需要及挑戰為己任。除了「學校起動」計劃之外,九龍倉亦積極為社區各界提供支援,著力扶助弱勢社群,並鼓勵公司義工參與服務。集團已透過捐款、場地贊助、物流支援及員工義工服務等方式,支持多個青少年發展、藝術及文化、環保及社會共融計劃。

重點項目

在二〇二〇年第一季,因應新型冠狀病毒爆發,集團注入了人民幣一千萬元予「九龍倉緊急支援基金」,並捐予湖北省紅十字會以支援內地醫護人員的防疫工作。希望藉各方之力,全球各地人民能盡快走出疫症陰霾,也讓大眾對武漢這個歷史城市有更多了解。

推動文化藝術

九龍倉透過推廣藝術文化,致力提高大眾的生活質素。集團旗下的地標物業定期舉辦世界級藝術展覽及文化活動。

Changsha IFS, with its opening in May 2018, introduced KAWS' first permanent bronze piece, SEEING/WATCHING, in its sculpture garden located on the 7/F of the mall. The eight-metre-tall art piece will soon make Changsha IFS become the popular art landmark.

In May 2021, Changsha IFS collaborated with Yue Minjun, the famous Chinese contemporary artist, the official authority of Guinness World Records, and Changsha citizens to break the Guinness World Records with “The largest balloon mosaic formed by People” by creating a mosaic image of thematic happy face with balloons.

Changsha IFS partnered with the internationally renowned pop artist Philip Colbert to bring the world's first exhibition of Lobster Wonderland in July 2022. Through giant art installations, public art thematic areas and a specially built lobster skateboard zone, combined pop-art culture with local culture to bring citizens to a world out of imagination.

The Light Rose Garden's World Tour in China debuted at Chengdu IFS in summer 2016. This massive public art exhibition is made up of 25,000 LED white roses and two unique pink roses, which transformed the Sculpture Garden of Chengdu IFS into a brilliant sea of shining flowers.

In 2022 summer, Chengdu IFS co-created “the MELON VERSE”, an immersive interactive art exhibition with renowned French artist Cyril Lancelin, purposefully choosing watermelon, summer’s representative fr uit, as the creative element to construct an experiential space that’s both gigantic and immersive.

The Migration, an eco public art exhibition created by renowned Italian art movement “Cracking Art” Art”, gathered 90 animal sculptures made from regenerated plastic at Chengdu IFS in 2023.

At Chongqing IFS, a new art piece “LOVE.FOUND.” created by Italian artist and architect Simone Carena, jointly with Chinese artist Yihong Hsu, was unveiled to the public in August 2018. The art piece is now situated at the northeast outdoor piazza of Chongqing IFS

In 2024 fall, Chongqing IFS debuted the art space “Jump High” by the renowned French artist Seth.

The Community Chest's Projects under the Wharf Group's funding

Operation Breakthrough, with a motto of "Changing Lives through Sports, aims to help at-risk youths establish correct values and stay away from crime through various sports training. In 2025/26, the Group will sponsor their rugby, cricket, and skateboarding training courses and competitions, targetting to benefit about 200 users and 2,000 attendees. 

 

During the first quarter of 2020, the Group has injected a sum of RMB10 million into “Wharf Emergency Relief Fund” ("WERF")and donated to Red Cross Society of China Hubei Branch to show our support for the medical heroes in mainland China in view of the outbreak of novel coronavirus (“COVID-19”). With concerted efforts from all concerned, the Group hopes that we will ride out of the storm soon and people get to know more about Wuhan as a historical city.

The Group companies have initiated a number of other initiatives. Most notably, Marco Polo Hotels Hong Kong under Wharf Hotels has mobilised 300 staff from 16 departments to research, test and handmade reusable masks for internal use and for charity. Project WeCan and partners also donated sanitary items including surgical masks, hand sanitisers, toilet seat cleaner and hand wipes to 76 WeCan schools which lack supplies as they prepare for school resumption.

Among others, Wharf has supported Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation since 2011, to help rural village development in Mainland China through financial donations and voluntary assistance. The project brings together volunteers from universities around the world for a good cause. With Wharf’s support, more than 100 Project WeCan students have participated in building footbridges and other facilities in remote villages in mainland China with Hong Kong, the Mainland and overseas universities students over the past few years. Wharf joined the annual fundraising event "Hike for Hospice" of the Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care to support the holistic and individualised palliative care for patients with life-limiting illness. Meanwhile, the Group provides an opportunity for the employees to build team spirit through the hike competition.
